About me

My name is Henrik Jasper. I have been passionate about photography since 2018. Since 2020 I have expanded as well into commercial work. Although I mostly photograph the beautiful landscapes of Europe, whenever I can I try to find wildlife of all kinds and photograph it in its natural habitat. I discovered my love for analogue (portrait) photography in January 2021. Next to my photography, I am currently studying biology at the University of Bern.

Ü-KÄR.

Kär means "to be in love" in Swedish. Ü-KÄR. describes an attitude, which is about being in love with the beautiful things and at the same time having a certain indifference towards the really unimportant things in life. We live in a fast-paced and overwhelming world where it's not always easy to find a moment of bliss and peacfullness to be enjoy carefree. I can't change the world with my pictures, but I would like to try to help every viewer to dive into a different way of perceiving our wonderful world with their own thoughts and feelings.
